Arsenal’s hierarchy has decided to offer Arsene Wenger a new four-year deal, it has been revealed.
Following 2 wins in their last 6 games Wenger, 67, has been offered given the opportunity to stay on past the summer once his current deal expires.
Majority Shareholder, Stan Kroenke, explained, “We have had two massive wins recently against Hull City and the one against Sutton United really satisfied the fans. It’s been a tough month but there is no shame in losing to Watford, Chelsea and Liverpool. Plus Bayern score 5 against pretty much everyone”.
“Ensuring Wenger stays on as manager should do enough to put Alexis Sanchez off too, which will help get the greedy Chilean off our books after he had the nerve to ask us for a payrise and to be able to bring his bloody dogs to the training ground. Don’t think I won’t sell him to Sunderland.”
“Going into the latter stages of the season it’s nice not having the pressure of the Premier League. Title battles are no good for Arsene’s blood pressure. Once we go out of the Champions League we can focus on 4th place so we can make sure we exit the Champions League again next March”.
