Bob Bradley Was Confident Swansea Would Stay Up After They Received First Draft Pick In January

A defiant Bob Bradley maintains that Swansea City would have avoided relegation after they received the first Draft Pick In January.

Former Head Coach, Bradley, who was sacked after just 85 days and 7 losses in 11 games, has told reporters that Swansea have made a huge mistake by firing him right before January.

Bradley, 58, explained, “Frankly it’s a ridiculous decision. Since we were joint bottom of the Premier League, that means that we would get first pick in January’s Transfer Draft. I had my eye on the great striker coming out of Durham University who shoots a deadly PK”.

“It’s another blatant case of Managers not being given enough time.”

Swansea Chairman, Huw Jenkins, told reporters “We’ve tried to explain to Bob about what the January Transfer Window actually involves, but we’ve run out of patience. We had just finished explaining to Bob about draws, offside and relegation.”

“Bob had some ideas about how to turn things around, but we just thought changing uniforms at crucial times in the games a-la The Mighty Ducks, was not the key to avoiding relegation.”

Shame Bradley has gone. Thought he was going to be the gift that kept on giving! Sad day for PL post-match interviews.
